All
Beaches in the Cayman Islands are public to the
high water mark. What exactly does that mean? To
us locals it means, that you can walk, lay and enjoy every
beach you can find. You can find beach access signs
through out the Island, they are paths that lead you to the
beach in between Hotels and Condominiums. That does
not mean one cannot go to a Hotel and enjoy their beach, to
use the facility just buy
a drink
or a meal and you'll be most welcome.
Quiet deserted
beaches are an easy find in Cayman, all you need is a car in
which to
explore, a cooler with beverages and a towel. The
extremely low crime rate in the Caymans is one of the many
reasons visitors can freely explore secluded beaches.
The extreme West End of the Island and practically the whole
Eastern Districts of the Island hold some of the best-kept
secret
beaches. Click on our Grand Cayman Beaches maps on the
left for an enlarged version you can print for you Cayman
vacation.
Maps of beaches in Rum Point, Seven Mile
Beach, Bodden Town, East End and secluded West Bay are found
